Top 6 FAQ Destination Wedding Bridal Make up in Los Cabos
There is no doubt that a bride shines with that special glow on her destination wedding day. It is a magical combination of love, excitement and happiness all pouring out of her being. A professional bridal makeup artist knows exactly how to use those intangible elements for the bride’s benefit.
Here are the answers to some of the questions a bride-to-be in Los Cabos usually has when choosing the right makeup artist away from home.
1.- Why should I hire a Pro-Makeup artist to do my makeup?
As you attend a physician when you are ill to get you better, you hire a professional makeup artist to use your natural beauty as a base and use her knowledge of colors and techniques to make you look your best.
TIP. Your Wedding Planner in Los Cabos will present you with wedding vendors that have plenty of experience doing bride’s hair and makeup. You can interview them, see their previous work, ask for a quote of services, see what brands they use, how long it takes for them to get you ready, etc. Once you are ready, you can choose the one you feel more comfortable with.
2.- Can I bring in my own hair and makeup artist?
Of course! If you feel more comfortable using someone you already know, I can help you make the proper arrangements for him/her.
3.- Should I do a makeup trial beforehand?
It indeed is recommended. As the trial date gets closer, it is likely you already have your dress and a couple of ideas of hair and makeup that you like. I recommend you to bring a photo of those to your trial as well as any accessories (tiara, hairpin) you consider using, so you and your makeup artist can go thru the process of getting you ready until you are completely satisfied with the final result. She will take notes/pictures and will keep them handy so when the day comes, everything goes smoothly.
4.- Do I need to focus on my eyes or lips?
Although they are both very important, my suggestion is to focus on your eyes, as that’s how your emotions will be shown. A professional makeup artist will take in your preferences, if you are used to wear eyeliner, etc. He/she will consider the colors that best complement your skin tone and the accessories you will wear. The color of your lips will bring the perfect balance to your already beautiful face.
5 .-Do I have to wear fake eyelashes for my Wedding?
Only if you want to. They are an incredible ally to highlight the natural beauty of your eyes and sometimes the right size of lashes can make a big difference. Upon your preferences, you can choose to have lashes placed one by one (a little more expensive and time consuming but longer lasting and totally worth it) or the traditional set of removable lashes.
6 .-What beauty tips should I do to make me look my best on my wedding day?
A daily beauty routine is composed not just of taking care of your face but of eating the right amount of nutritional food, sleeping well and doing periodic exercise, all of these combined are the most beneficial ways to keep your skin glowing inside out. A deep cleansing facial is also recommended about 3 or 4 weeks before the wedding. I do not recommend doing anything within 2 weeks prior the big day, avoid new creams, lotions or treatments that could create an allergic reaction or irritate your skin. During wedding week, keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water and the night before a good night sleep is the best thing you can do for yourself.
Simply put, the best make up a bride can wear is her smile. As your destination wedding coordinator in Los Cabos, my job is to help your smile flow effortlessly.
